The Qob SMP was the very first season. Inspired by servers such as the Hermitcraft server, it started as a small server for a group of friends to play on. After realizing we needed more people to create a community like the ones we watched and loved on YouTube, the Qob SMP was officially born and opened to the public. The goal was to provide a reliable, pure vanilla server experience for everyone, ensuring fair and enjoyable gameplay.

The community of Qob was kept small, creating a friendly environment for long lasting friendships and memories to be formed. Experiences such the plague of bamboo pranks, to an elected government with a Mayor, City Planner, and Judge, and a custom currency to replace diamonds. A community favorite was the Justice system, which lead to some very memorable court cases, animal abuse law suits and insanity pleas being a couple events that stood out.

When Qob ended, we felt as though we had accomplished what we wanted for the most part. There was no intention of continuing with a second season, though it was never out of the question. After some time had passed and many players requesting a second server, we decided to try something new this time. The things we learned from Qob laid a foundation that we would take to a new level, giving birth to Morven.
